Stop!! Go to the front of the web-site and check out the player of the week.
Greg, why did you give player of the week to Swanny? Swanny had another awful round with a 47. I really think Doug May should have won player of the week honors as he turned in a gross 36.
Yes, Doug May shot a 36 for a net 31. This round would have had Don yelling more than just "BETTS", in fact the conversation would go something like this.....
DON MAY: "BEEETTTS"
BETTE ANNE: Yes, dear is that you?
DON MAY: "Holy Shit, Betts, you will not believe what our wonderful son Doug did?
BETTE ANNE: "Did he make us proud again? He was just put into the St. Brandon Catholic School Baseball Hall of Fame, what possibly could he have done to top that?
DON MAY: "He shot a 36 in golf league. That is even par!!"
BETTE ANNE: "That is so wonderful. I love him so much. That is really funny though, I always thought our other son, Greg was the better golfer."
DON MAY: "No, actually, I was on the CGA web-site the other day and Dougie is a full shot better than Greg. Speaking of Greg.......
BETTE ANNE SHARPLY INTERUPTS
BETTE ANNE: "Oh no, what did he do now? Did he light another trash can on fire?
DON MAY: "No, No, he bought this new driver and he thinks he can hit it straight but he ended up pull hooking a drive and shattered a window on number 5."
BETTE ANNE: "That boy just is so stubborn. He had a great driver, one that he hit straight, and he always has to tinker... tinker... tinker...."
DON MAY: "I just feel awful for the residents that owned the house. Just think how scared they must have been. The worst part is that I heard George Tzagournis, you know the one that is a dentist, was scrounging around the bushes looking for the 3 balls that he hit into the house after Greg shattered the window."
BETTE ANNE: "Those boys should go back to the Phoenix. At least there, the only thing they can damage is the trash pile."
DON MAY WALKS OVER AND GETS AN IRON CITY BEER FROM THE REFRIGERATOR.
DON MAY: "Oh well, Betts, we raised them well. Greg has always been stubborn and he will never put away the new driver. He is old enough to make his own decisions.
BETTE ANNE: "I know, but they play Chuckie West next week and that Underwood will be playing mind games with him"
