Some New Faces Turn In Low Rounds

The second week of the second half posted some good scores. The Commish was on a bye and was out of town. Looking over the scores, the conditions had to be ideal. Joe Ayers, who rode Porterfield the first half, now has decided he will drive the second half. I am sure he had the 3 wood under control, as he shot a 38 for a net 30 as he clobbered Diwik. Smokin Joe finally put together his best round of the year, as he shot a 46 for another net 30. Sorry Joe, I was not there to make some wagers. Budzik got in on the act as well and turned in a 39 for net 31. If Budzik is carding a 39, the wind had to be non-existent.

Porta-Joe's continues to to lead. Bud-E-Bel, with solid rounds by both players moved into second place and sits 17.50 points off of the pace. Sons of Betts is in third as they go into a bye this week.

Greg May leads the individual until the results are posted for this week where his bye will kick in. Joe Ayers is in second, followed by Pete Ebel in third.

Some big matches this week. After watching Tom Watson turn back the clock this weekend, it is time to get back on the course and stir up some magic of our own.
