Sir Shawn Swanson showed the league that he still is one of the elite players in the CGA. Shawn showed his all around golf skills by putting up a gross 36, net 30. Reports were that Shawn was "just outright really long off the tee" and had his shortgame working on all cylinders. Not many of us will ever shoot even par in the golf league, but not many of us have Shawn's game. Congratulations Shawn! Here is to seeing you out in the CGA more often.
Rob Burkley took the week off and has clinched the CGA Individual Title. I don't think I need to mention again, what a dominating performance Rob put togehter this season.
The "Bug" man helped Chuckie pick up 9 points over Brink Doggie. Smokin was called in for a family emergency and had to go to Hocking Hills. This opened the door for the real Barrett golfer to step in and take Brinkman down. In typical Crony fashion, this led to further discussions at BWWW that Chuckie is stealing a title by having so many Sub Points. Sorry fellas, deal with it! With a win Monday night, Chuckie will tie Them Hate Us as the first team to win back to back titles. By the way, Southie will sub for Shaffer Monday night. Chuckie leads by 13 over Brinkman/Webb and 22.5 over MayKEbel. MayKebel has absolutely no chance, while Webb/Brinkman would have to sweep. Chuckie plays Feller/Fry and Webb/Brinkman play BuBu.
Good luck to all at Black Diamond. The weather should be ideal and we have a full field competing for the title. Brinkman has lined up a couple of women from "The Churnin Butter" strip club that will be stopping by at midnight. These are amish girls that have flown the nest. Should be entertaining!
