Brinkman Takes the Lead

John Brinkman "swooshed" into first place in the Individual Standings in Week 12, continuing a run of consecutive victories that has now reached six. His 38/33 was good for a 13-2 win over Jay Feller. Brinkman has netted 69 points over the past six weeks, an average of 11.5 per week. His handicap during this time has fallen from a 7 to a 4. He finishes with Mike Barrett (or Joe?) and Greg May.

One point behind Brinks is K.C. Budzik, who's 42/35 was bested by red hot Mike Barrett and his 40/34. Budzik will take a season-low 5.95 handicap into his match with Greg May (5.98) in Week 13. He faces Joe Ayers in Week 14.

Others with a legitimate shot at cracking the top two in Individual Standings include Tommy Fry (4 points back), Brad Underwood (-4.5), Ryan Webb (-5.5) and Rob Burkley (-8.5).

In the Team Standings, Fua Twoa held onto first place despite a 29.5-15.5 loss to Stickit and Lickit, who now finds themselves in second place and only 5 points off the pace. Stickit was paced by Player of the Week Ryan Webb and his 34/31. This was the first Crony round under par this season....'nuff said. Like Brinkman in the Individual Standings, Stickit and Lickit has made a steady climb up the standings in the second half of the season and is considered by some to be the hottest team. Following are the teams within 15 points of first place and their remaining schedules:
  1. Fua Twoa (298.5): Duh...Winning / Mozikalicious
  2. Stickit and Lickit (-5): PorterFeller / Duh...Winning
  3. Duh...Winning (-9): Fua Twoa / Stickit and Lickit
  4. Cat Piss (-14.5): Robel's Army / Porterfeller
It is hard to make sense of this except to say that if Duh....Winning wins its last two matches they will have a real good chance at winning the league.
