Two days after besting the field in the Touch 'Em All for his fourth major title, Greg May (aka Senior G) posted a 40/34 which was good for low gross, low net and a 12-3 defeat of Pete Ebel (47/41). Senior G did it with 6 pars, 2 bogeys and a triple. He is our Week 3 Player of the Week. Special mention goes to Jay Feller, who is also on fire. Feller led his team to a 2nd place finish in the TEA and then showed up Monday night and fired a 45/36 on his way to a dominating 14-1 victory over Jason Diwik. Steve Porterfield also deserves special mention for his 42/36 which included the CGA's first eagle of the season. Port reached the #12 green in two, without using a driver mind you, and proceeded to drain the putt.
In the team competition, See You on Mundy maintained its lead with another strong effort from Brad Underwood. Underwood is the only Crony that is off to a 3-0 start this year and leads the Individual Standings as a result. On Mundy, he and sub Brett Southworth dispatched Good Luck with relative ease in a 35-10 victory. This extended See You on Mundy's slim lead over Steller to 6 points.
The CGA season will break for Memorial Day and resume action on June 4th....so we'll see you in two Mundy's.
