Greg May is your 2015 Crony Match Play Champion and Rob Burkley is your Runner-Up.
May pockets $300 for first and Burkley $150 for second. Burkley's ace on the 176 yard #11 also earned him over $3,000.
Brad Underwood won the "back nine" low net and earned $50. The 3-man scramble team of Tzagournis, Ayers and Feller took first place and the $180 winner take all purse. If I recall, Underwood and the scramble team were both paid their winnings by the Commissioner.
What a day, highlights included:
- Burkley's Ace and his willingness to have an "open tab" with the cart girl. Many cronies joined in the celebration, some more than others.
- Brinkman beating Webb means Webb will have to wait another year to capture his first major.
- Crony 9-Some in the scramble format and the banter/feedback shared with Ranger Rick.
- Many cronies attending Brit Floyd concert and generally good comradery flowing throughout the evening.
- Brinkman providing White Castle sliders so many cronies were able to "re-fresh" and attend the evening activities.
Two weeks remain in league play, today (8/31) and Monday, September 14th. Both weeks are back nine, white tees.
Commissioner still owes $50 to Gretel's French Toast and Dirkley for LOW NET TEAM wins in weeks 15 and 16.
Important matches tonight:
Budzik vs. Ayers straight up, to see if Budzik can catch Benack in the individual race. Benack faces Doug May and is getting 8 shots.

CB3PO can nearly clinch the team standings with a win over Gretel's French Toast which has been particularly hot as the season winds down.
Next big event will be CronyCup, on September 26th.
After hearing remarks about "missing Black Diamond," your Commissioner is putting the pieces in place to have the TEA Spring Tournament 2016 back in Millersburg.
