K.C. Budzik followed up a solid Week 1 performance with a 42/36 to take low net. Budzik racked up 30 points in Crony Cup points. His 48 points is 6.5 points in front of Scott Schoemer, who followed up his Week 1 Crony Cup win with a 47/38, good for a tie for 4th and 11.5 points. Budzik is also tied for 1st in the Individual standings with Joe Barrett at 22.5 points.
State Champs have established themselves as the early team to beat in the first half standings. After opening the season with a big 38.5 point win, they cruised to a 28 to 17 win over Two High Aces in Week 2, powered by the only two birdies on the night, Webb on 12 and Doug May on 16. State Champs sits 8 points ahead of Sloppy Joes and 9 points in front of Buzd Bird.
Doug May and Jud Deshler won the Vegas pot game with a combined score of 343.
The first major of the year is this Saturday at Urbana Country Club. Pairings and handicaps will be posted later in the week, but for now ... it's time to stretch.
